In Sunday's slopestyle event, Brian Gardiner was in first place after the first round. However, in the second round Mount Snow's Evan Hilgert put down a run that tied Brian's score. Knowing he had a good first run under is belt, Brian attempted for the first time a run with 2 off-axis tricks. He did a flat 3 off the top jump and landed cleanly. A group of Mount Snow skiers watched from the bottom as Brain came into the last jump. Brain did a Misty 540 off the bottom jump and stomped the landing. As he skied out, the Mount Snow skiers clicked their poles and Evan gave Brian a high five as he skied by. With the exception of a very long Big Air event on Saturday, everyone had a great time at Mount Snow, and the class of the Mount Snow kids was very nice to see.
